R.I.P Jewelry

Jewelry the 2nd has died.

Nyla was already sleeping when I found it floating.
I looked at Esman.
He gave me the 'What! Not again!' look. Hahaha!

This time, we decided not to lie to her by getting another replacement fish.

When she woke up in the morning and found Jewelry lifeless, she cried a little bit.
I was expecting wails and all from this lil drama mama of mine but surprisingly, she was calm.
She threw one of the coloured pebbles at dead Jewelry.
Me: Why did you do that?!
Nyla: Maybe Jewwelry just pengsan. Who knows she might wake up?

Well, of course Jewelry didn't, much to her disappointment.

Nyla suggested going to the grass patch at the void deck to bury Jewelry.
Yes, she copied the idea from one of The Berenstain Bears' Book.
Suddenly, this little makcik of mine got very excited at the thought of the burial ceremony for her pet fish and forgot about the fact that she should be mourning. :S

We were about to leave the house when Daddy E called.
He told Nyla that he wanted to attend the burial ceremony as well and thus, wanted to be present to pay his last respects.
And so we postponed the funeral rites and waited for Daddy E to come back.
When he reached home, he then suggested burying Jewelry in Nyla's little garden at the balcony.

The only downside is Nyla, being a curious preschooler, will always dig the soil every morning just to see the process of Jewelry's decomposition and it is d.i.s.g.u.s.t.i.n.g!
